WELCOME TO
THE HOME OF SUPERCONDUCTION AT ROOM TEMPERATURE |
In 2003
Prof. Johan F. Prins reported the formation of a superconducting phase
at and above room temperature (see Semiconductor Science and Technology,
volume 18, page S131, 2003). Since then he has modeled the mechanism
responsible for superconduction to manifest. This mechanism is not
the one that has been advocated in the scientific literature to date.
In fact, all the other models (even those for which Nobel Prizes have
been awarded) can be proved to be wrong. The actual mechanism responsible
for superconduction to manifest is explained in the book entitled Superconduction
at Room Temperature without Cooper Pairs, which can be bought through
this website. This mechanism has also led to a design logic which can
be used to manufacture superconducting artifacts which will be operational
above room temperature. The latter invention has been patented. |

MEET
THE CHALLENGE! The author challenges the worldwide community of scientists to prove him wrong by presenting (in writing) a better model for superconduction than espoused in this book; or alternatively by proving that the existing theories, like the Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) model, are superior. As shown in this book, all previous theories on superconduction are flawed!! Not one of them explains superconduction, because not one of them is based on the actual mechanism that is responsible for superconduction. Neither can these models predict which modifications are required to realise superconduction within a material.
